Your Bible Quotes And How You Can Be A Better Person

By Sarah Winterville

There are few written words or things in general that have had as big an impact on people's lives. The Bible and Bible Quotes have changed and affected millions of people all across the world. The influence of the Bible has brought good to areas in need. Regardless of the unlimited power of the Bible, there are always people that doubt religion or the proven benefits of religion on people's lives. It's important to understand this importance and make it a priority in your life even if that's for a couple of minutes a day.

Looking at religion, you can find many if not all of the principals that govern us in our everyday lives. Rules and laws that have been created to live peacefully often are derived from the Bible itself. The 10 commandments lay out many of the core principals of life and safety. Most modernized societies have incorporated these religious virtues into their governing society.

If you are in agreement that the Bible and its teachings have largely influenced and ultimately resulted in shaping the rules of our society, then how can you be a non-believer. Understanding religion and its impact on our society means that the lessons learned clearly are important. It's these principals and lessons that form law and ultimately should guide us in our actions and how we act towards one another.

There are portions of the Bible where stories have been written in a time when all the answers weren't available. These stories often represented interpretations of natural events, feelings, or actions by others. While not always a true depiction of reality, they are often used as lessons for us to learn about ourselves. Why did people act the way they did. Who can blame someone for making a circumstantial decision?

Looking at Bible Stories, you can relate them today's world. Regardless of the fact that the story is dated or possibly filled with tales that appear to be unbelievable at face value, there is a meaning. Understanding the Bible means being able to dig deeper and see where the value and the lessons are that help shape us. Stories may be interpreted figuratively as opposed to literally and this is where the Bible has lessons to be learned.

These stories or lessons of the Bible provide the core for values we all should exhibit. We should care for one another and treat others the way we would like to be treated. We shouldn't necessarily judge others by their circumstances or decisions. Life presents difficult obstacles and circumstances and people handle them differently. While there may not be a wrong or right way, there certainly are better ways to deal with them. The Bible provides this guidance and has helped millions through similar situations.

Dissecting the Bible into portions can be a great way to start. You can look at individual Bible Quotes and begin to see how it relates to you. What do you have in common with this statement? What does it say about you as an individual and how can you improve yourself to better live amongst others. Looking at the bible and appreciating the bible even just for a couple minutes each day can start to make a big change on your life.
