Little Stevie Was A Leader

By Ronald Kubitz

It is usually said that great managers are born and "not made". Actually, this is the saying that all of us in marketing industries are aware. What makes this statement true? What is the best model for management? Who was the best manager appointed in the past years? What were the styles he had use? How he controlled the entire work place and staff? What was his definition of delegation of work and how he did it? Well, I bet that you have no idea who is he and why he is the best model in this article. Find out the answers below.

According to some management books, managers are made not born as they presented lots of evidences based on real situations. The authors also included some ideas from the past events, such as how the world affected the mind of people and so on. Managers are made not born seemed to be real than managers are born not made. What was the reason behind? Our earth was revolving around the sun in 365 days. We experienced different weathers and calamities; there were newly born children and persons who died young; there were new innovations and old applications. What was the point? Managers can be molded into somebody else because we are living in a world wherein the only constant thing was change.

Actually, the employees became productive and independent to work for themselves. They worked for their own good, finished their daily jobs without failures and focused on what they supposed to do without their boss. Honestly, the strategy of Mr. Sam Walton also shaped them to become a better persons and competitive personnel. Do you the reason why? It was because every single move was captured and every giggle in silence and laughter was recorded. Mr. Walton observed whatever they do in the workplace.

Another point of this strategy was delegation of work. Do you know what it means when it comes to management? Well, it implies that every worker has a task and a job that is equally divided with one another. Actually, no one is willing to work harder than other, unless that person ranks higher in position. What does it feel to work in a harmonious way with no job issues? Why does a word 'self-governing' important to a marketing team? Why it is needed in governing retail stores and small groceries?

Is a manager born or made? Can you give me your final answer now? May be, you are looking for more explanations but since this is a just a short article, references are waiting for you to read in the corner. To end this, delegation of task is also needed in a work place. A manager should know how to divide the task equally and confidently. There should be no issue and chaos related to the job.
