Tips On Monitoring Your Own Apartment In The Evening

By Mikale M Oshby

We viewed the thief on video rushing out of our home, in the dim light, lugging his bag packed with our stuff. The camera was aimed right at his own face, however this did not help. Since the recording was really dim, you could not view his face whatsoever.

We still revealed it to the law enforcement officials, needless to say. Naturally, they could not make his face out, either, so the video was fairly useless. That exact same day, I changed our previous CCTV video camera with the best low light security video cam I could find. This new one works even under no light at all.

Surveillance cams allow people to safeguard their houses or businesses against burglaries, and also keep track of their own personnel or family members. Some allow monitoring from another location.

Security cameras aren't made alike, as we found out. Several types can't see in the dark. Others can, but some of these can't see as effectively compared to the others.

That is why I got a day/night video camera which can see no matter what the lighting conditions are, or what the weather is like.

The day/night video camera with 56 infrared LEDs that I got can see up to 60 feet even during total darkness with its 56 IR illuminators and also 1/3 Sony Super HAD CCD image sensor. And it is a weatherproof video camera therefore it will work wherever.

This particular infrared camera can be acquired wired or cord less. It is sold with all the necessary power supplies and battery packs. The cord less cameras, just like mine, have a free 2.4 GHz receiver.

Not even the best low light surveillance camera on the globe can go back in time to be able to help us catch that criminal who had taken a few of our valuable items. Even if we never put him in prison or get our stuff back, one thing is for sure, at least. In case he tries to come back, or another individual breaks into our house, there is not a way he is getting away with this unidentified, no matter how dark it is.
