Grasp The Concept Of 4WD Turbo

By Bob Reese

4WD turbo kit is an environmental friendly modification that improves the efficiency and delivery of your engine. It combines the desired elements of power, altitude compensation, economy, durability, tow and pass ability, low down torque and reduced emissions in one engine. This translates into an engine with improved horse power and reduced emissions.

Additional air is pumped into the engine making combustion more efficient when the demand is high. This does not require extra energy to be achieved. It utilizes the heat energy generated from exhaust gases. This heat would otherwise have gone to waste. A modification is done on the engine to direct the supper heated gases towards a turbine that provides the extra force.

The turbine connects to a compressor that is positioned in another chamber. The compressor connects to the air cleaner and supplies larger volumes of clean air. This is a double advantage that prevents harmful emissions and at the same time facilitates fuel efficiency. The internal combustion mechanism produces more power using less fuel.

There is a significant increase in power and torque when an engine is installed with the new system. This system adds between 40 and 50 percent more power. The engine has the power of the petrol variety. It however retains the durability, reliability and fuel economy qualities. It makes it easier to handle heavy load or tow uphill.

Besides managing heavier loads, the vehicle can easily accelerate allowing safe overtaking on highways. It is a solution for long hills since it gains speed very easily. There is a dramatic increase in offroad ability because of a wider and stronger torque. This translates to reduced power gap when changing gears.

There are 4WD Turbo kits for different engines depending on their model and capacity. Some require expert fitting while others come with a DIY guide. The transformation will be evident once the system is installed.
