Instructions To Protect Swimming Pool Plaster

By Cornelia White

After years of exploration, a couple of suggestions are given by professionals and experts when it comes to maintenance of swimming pool plaster. There are components that can harm the plaster therefore you should make sure that it remains undamaged no matter what happens.

The recommendation is to fill up the pool around the marked line on the tile. You should try and use a garden hose for this purpose because it is termed as an ideal choice and you will be able to fill up your pool very conveniently. You also have to keep a check on pool filter as you need to use it frequently through the cleaning process. Its better if you keep it operational for a continuous time period.

Ask your local supplier for superior quality sequestering agent. For approximately ten thousand gallons of water, you will need to add quarter of sequestering agent. Always use a recommendable high quality product and if you are not sure about how much quantity to add, just ask for help instead of misusing the product. Another chemical known as muriatic acid needs to be added as well in order to keep the pool water fresh for longer. You don't need to do any prior mixing, just add the chemicals one by one directly into the water.

Leave the two chemicals to work overnight and the next day, with the help of a cleaning brush, start cleaning the floor and tiles. Move your brush in upward to downward portion making sure no debris comes upwards. Keep your strokes nice and gentle to ensure every single inch of the tile is cleaned properly. The chemicals that you have added will definitely ease up the whole cleaning process.

After the next day of brushing, just ensure that filter is clean and repeat the process of brushing again. Although you might think that whilst brushing the water might be getting dusty and muddy but actually all the dust gathered onto the plaster is brushed and then filtered out. This is the reason why you need to operate the filter continuously.

You are obliged to take after the same methodology of brushing for a couple of days until all the dirt is cleaned off. Continuously determine that the channel is completely clean and does not hold any flotsam and jetsam with the goal that the tidy that is constantly dismissed is separated successfully, any other way it might stay inside the pool which might give an exceptionally untidy and unhygienic picture.

Your efforts would start showing to pay off after a couple of days when it would start to appear all clean and shiny. You can now add cyanauric acid which is a form of stabiliser and also add liquid chlorine. Always make sure you add the correct amounts, never go overboard with the quantities as it could prove to be dangerous.

The following day, you can see that the colour of water is virtually blue and extremely clear. You may as well clean the filter altogether and you should exchange it with another one if required. Test the substance content of water to guarantee swimming pool plaster won't be affected whatsoever.
