Both McMahon and Mondt want him to defend his title, but being the title holder Roger had to choices either to defend the title or to pay 25,000. In which roger chose to defend the title and ultimately lost the battle. This made McMahon and Mondt upset and they decide to leave NWA. This made the creation of the new wrestling corporation, World Wide Wrestling Federation or WWWF.
The WWE has its headquarters at Connecticut. It has also opened other branches in various other cities all over the world such as London, Toronto, New York, etc. This makes it relevant that the WWE franchise does not only restrict itself to a part of the world. It has spread its wings to several countries across the world. It is considered to be a phenomenon more than a sport or an event. Individuals tend to fall for it once they watch it. Later WWE decided to start two branches of it, namely the RAW and the SmackDown. There were lot of talented wrestlers that couldn't find their place in the WWE ring, therefore providing them another platform was necessary. Raw and Smackdown followed the same protocols for entertainment. They continued to divide and create separate shows such as the ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling). They also launched combined shows of Raw and SmackDown under the tag Raw Supershow.
