As a homeowner, you will always have good intentions, and a commitment to make sure that you do not have items strewn all over your countertops. This includes making sure that the available drawers are properly organized. But the reality is that this is not always possible due to the lack of enough storage space. You can, however, change this by installing an easy shower shelf.

At the mention of new shelving, some homeowners will automatically assume that you are advising them to undertake a remodel. But this is not the case. You do not have to undertake any major renovations in the residence for you to install a new set of shelves. The little space that you have will do just fine. It may even workout better than you had anticipated.

Recessed shelving is recommended for spaces that are too small to handle shelves jutting from the walls. The main benefit of using these shelves is that they tend to look harmonious. They also provide a smooth appearance to your bathroom. Consider them if you want to visually expand the available space as opposed to sticking with the traditional cramped shelves.

Light industrial shelving units will come in handy for homeowners who also want to add a visual pop to their homes. The shelves are renowned for their ability to bring any room back to life. They possess a modern vibe, and do not require the services of a contractor to install. The sides have minor metalwork which assists in providing the industrial vibe.

A minimal bathroom accompanied by a shelving nook will also wonders for your residence. The concept also works well for homes with little to no space to hold new shower shelves. What the contractor will do is take advantage of any hollow spaces that they are able to identify. A cabinet will then be made and retrofitted into that hollow space. Alternatively, you can consult with the contractor to determine whether some shelves can also be incorporated into that space.

Shelving may require you to make some holes to hold the shelves. As it stands, not every homeowner is open to this idea. If you also do not like this idea, then consider having your contractor install an over-the-toilet-ladder. The ladder can either be made out of wood or metal. You get to choose the colors that you would like used on the completed shelving unit.

You should, however, note that this design is not considered aesthetically pleasing by many property owners. But while it may lack some cabinet doors, it does make up for this by being very practical. With the right decoration tips, you can get to change its appearance.

A wooden pallet that has been specially repurposed can also serve as a good bathroom shelf. Many industries use the pallets to deliver goods and the discard them once they are done with them. Rather than let them go to waste, collect a few and allocate some of your free time to go towards repurposing the pallets.
