Different Types Of Dispensing Nozzles

By Douglas Russell

Every day, there are many innovations that is continuously being created. There are endless possibility of ideas and brilliance when it comes to human mind. However, when planning to make a breakthrough that would deem to change the life of people, first things first is the rule. To be able to do so, investing in quality tools that would make everything happen is one of the most important stuff to thought on. That being said, even the tiniest things like dispensing nozzle deems its significance nonetheless.

Nozzles, tips and needles that are used to dispense are important in terms of application system processes wherein they play huge role in manipulating the deposit. Though, it can be pretty confusing for those who are not aware that it has many types.. Its classification would often determine what is it for and which materials it is highly suited for.

First one in the list are the blunt end tips. They are stainless steel and this is considered to be the most popular among the entire bunch. This is sold in so many variation of colors, length and sizes. This may be purchased as well in an angled style or crimped, all depends on the customer.

Next is smooth flow tapered tip which is recommended for materials with high viscosity. It may also be used for materials that are often filled and sticky. Some of it would include solder paste and conductive adhesives.

PTFE lined tips were in perfect contradiction of the one that came before it because this is only for materials with lower viscosity. This can dispense materials like cyanoacrylate adhesives. The tip of this tool is as well stainless an is bordered with a Teflon coating bonded by hubs which are often color coded along with a luer lock.

Stainless steel needle material is one that would perfectly define a precision nozzle. This is suitable for fluid material since this has tiny machines etched internally. This would as well be the mere reason as to why its fluid flow is smooth and subtle.

Preci Tip Precision nozzles and tips were invented for bead purposes. It has a streamline conical fluid path which is responsible for high flow of fluid rate. Though, it still has low dispense pump back pressure compared to other types so it has a high accuracy in terms of dispensing. It has a brilliant thin wall nozzle cores which provides a low resistance to the fluid flow.

Compared to nozzles that are made up only of plastic tips, this one comes a little long way than those. The accuracy and quality of its dispensing means is what each customer is looking for. This would all show on how the finish product would look like.

There also are brush tips that are for adhesives, grease and oil to spread on even layers and areas. The flexible tip are for dispensing of areas which considered as hard to reach. This entire type of nozzle may actually come in one component kit, this indeed is perfect for those who would not want to purchase everything by piece.
