Info On San Diego Mediums

By David Stevens

Running as back as in the 19th century, it is an act that involves a person who acts a connection between the humans and the spirits. The act rose to fame in the 19th century and funny enough lost its popularity at that same period. Science plays a major role in this practice, trying to make clear and logic such acts involved in San Diego mediums. The subject has since dismissed the practiced as simple planned theatrics.

Research led by a psychology Britain based group meant to clear the air on the subject, concluded that the whole phenomenon of mediums was nonexistent. Contrary to these claims however, are scenarios where actual happenings with a spiritual manifestation are continually reported. Such are the scenarios where strange occurrences as unfamiliar voices come from the possessed subject.

Apart from just being a one way channel, individuals who practice the act are a two way channel; both speaking from the spiritual world to the human world and from the human world to the spiritual world. In addition to such basic practices, it at times is needed of them to lend their bodies to the entities who then use it to communicate directly to their audience, afterwards returning the body.

Through maneuvers applied by those inclined towards the practice, a direct mental connection or a direct physical connection can be established to the dead. A mental connection would simply require the practitioner to keenly listen to what is being said on the other side, while a physical connection would involve a firsthand experience with the entity through occurrences as objects being thrown around and etcetera. The acts incorporation in the media has also grown, being played in movies and other TV plays.

Evidently, from the biblical times of the old leader called Saul, and his invoking of the dead spirit of a prophet called Samuel, the practice has a rich history that tells of how it grew into time. At a period between 1920 and 1930, the numbers of those who believed and took part in this practice rose to their highest point.

However several of who claimed to possess such abilities were exposed as frauds, probably just using the claim to defraud the unknowing. A notable case is that of Colin Evans, an individual who purported that spiritual beings gave him an airlift, thereby being able to float in the air. Records of outcomes witnessed during such activities have been recorded and published. For instance one Dorreen Phillips wrote of such encounters in the year 1958.

Religion has since been the first criticizer of the act. The bible for instance spells out that such dark acts should not be related to as they are against the creators teachings. This has not however barred it from growing into the 21th century and finding and even more convenient market positioning. The internet and social networks, where those practicing offer their services to those in need.

With the 21th century famous practitioners like Allison Dubois and Chip Coffey, the act which most view as a dark practice keeps trudging on as a long lived act. Similarly as the act lives on, so does the question as to whether the act is a genuine one. An over the time clash between science and the practice.
