There has been a change in society ever since the fifties. The days that women were being encouraged to get married and keep the home clean are long gone. Now, especially with the economic situation the way it is, women are out in the marketplace. This is the current state of affairs where both men and women have to take up the duty of keeping up the household.

There are still women who can choose to stay home with the children. It is a known fact that women can match men at most careers. So you can often find women in almost any sector of the economy. What are the best paying jobs for women?

The number one paying job for women most probably is being a pharmacists. Women who work can make $1900 each week. Women in this field make up to 50% of all the pharmacists hence compete everyday with men on an equal footing.

This is largely due to the fact that women in increasing numbers are receiving the kind of education that these high paying jobs demand. it is a known fact that women require a four year degree in their area of interest to get these top paying jobs.

You might be made to think that women doctors follow pharmacists as the second high paying jobs. This is because doctor's salaries vary with the field of medicine they practice. Women prefer certain specialties and unfortunately these tend to be the lower paying ones. These include things like general practice in children's medicine.

After pharmacy, lawyers is the second high paying career for women. This is the profession where women compete equally with men for the best jobs. The requirements for this job are the same for both men and women.

The third top paying job for women is computer and information system managers. This is not surprising, since the computer industry has such a high demand that men and women, they don't care your sex..

There are several other fields that follow this category of high paying jobs for women.

Women make up the majority of psychologist and physical therapists, plus occupational therapists and medical and health service managers. The earn average of $60,000 a year.

The teaching profession is one of the highest paying positions for women. In 2012, they had a median annual pay range of $59,000 per year for foreign language and literature teachers. Law teachers got to take home about $94,000 a year.

Women CEOs earn with the best of them taking home an average $165K a year.

Women are more concerned than men in terms of their career choice and societal impact. For this reason, they gravitate toward being clergy members. They are required to be good skills dealing with people and also tend to write well. They are better than men when it comes to this and for this reason, they seem to be more successful at it.
