What To Consider When Purchasing An Omega Juicer

By Wanda Rosner

Juicing is becoming increasingly popular among many people. This is mainly due to the many nutrients that you get by juicing raw vegetables. Juicing is also beneficial since it enables you to consume a lot of vegetables and fruits that you would not ordinarily consume if you were to eat them instead of juicing. In order to reap the maximum benefits of juicing, you would need to get the best juicer for the job. Omega is one of the leading manufacturers of juicers with the company manufacturing omega 8006, omega 8005, and omega 8004 models among many other models. With the availability of different omega juicer models available, it is important to know how best to go about buying the most suitable one.

One of the most important things you need to consider is the price. Different juicers will cost differently; thus, you need to find out what is within your budget. For instance, the omega 8006 juicer will definitely cost differently when compared with other omega juicers. Thus, choose something that is affordable and can still do the work.

You would also need a juicer that squeezes all the juice from the produce. You would not want to buy a juicer that produces pulp that still has some juice. Thus, you can just evaluate the different juicers and if possible sample them to determine how good they are in removing as much juice as possible from the produce.

The amount of time that is available to juice will also depend on the kind of juicer you buy. If you have very little time to spend juicing, it is advisable to buy a centrifugal juicer as they are quick to use and easy to clean. However, if you have at least one hour available, you can choose a juicer like the twin gear or masticating juicer.

It is also crucial to determine the kind of things that you will be juicing. This is because if you are juicing soft fruits mostly, the best juicers will be centrifugal juicers. However, if you are juicing hard fruits that even have seeds like guavas and watermelons, the best juicer to use is twin gear juicers.

The time that you drink your juice will also determine the kind of juicer you buy. For example, centrifugal juicers usually produce some warmth and friction that induce oxidation of the produce causing them to be less fresh. Thus, if you wish to be consuming your juice several hrs after, the best choice is to use an omega 8006 juicer.

Before you buy a juicer, you would need to determine how hard the produce you will be juicing is. This is because they affect the kind of motor you would want your juicer to have. If you are juicing mostly hard produce, you will need more power; hence want a stronger motor.

You would also need to know the noise levels of different juicers before purchasing any. Usually, the more powerful the motor is, the more the noise that it will produce. However, if you are keen on low noise levels, then you will need to buy a juicer that uses less power.
