It is important to understand that a dog of any age can receive training. However, puppies are easier to train. Older dogs are not keen and this makes them harder to train. They also take longer to learn as compared to puppies.

While training the dog, it is important to remember that they are emotional. You should not mistreat the dog as you train. Instead, you should always applaud him and reward him if you want to build a better relationship and a great training journey. For example, while giving a new command, always praise and reward if he achieves it. This makes training more fun and enjoyable.
