Inspirational Artwork By The Award-Winning Cheri Christensen

Her early years were spent in a small town situated somewhere in Washington. She hailed from a farming family who reared horses, chickens, and other farm barnyard animals. Her education took place at the acclaimed University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

At the University Christensen undertook a degree course in fine art and oil painting. As a student, she spent lots of time with her master and mentor, Ron Lukas. Ron introduced her to the basics and the fundamentals of the Russian Impressionism. Ron, himself, was a protege of the Russian art maestro known as Sergei Bongart.

Her effort and hard work paid off brilliantly in the long run. Her paintings started to gain fame and popularity, and they were exhibited at the famed Charles Emma Frye Art Museums based in Seattle. One of her premier paintings which depicted farm animals got awarded by the Beatrice Jackson Memorial awards. It got slotted into the category of the Best Traditional Landscape in the Allied Artists of America 1995 art show.

As is often the case with any acclaimed artist, there has to be an underlying recurrent message by the artist. Many of her artwork have been observed to show animals in various natural settings. Her refined skill level is enough to bring out surreal art forms dancing in the light. Her animal-depicting artwork got showcased at the famed Best Traditional Landscape in the Allied Artists of America Art Show of 1995.

The media and the press cannot simply stop talking about the work by this artists. To that effect, they have continued to post and publish incredible stories about the female artists in their dailies. Her art gets its inspiration from observation the daily happenings in nature. Perhaps this effect came about as a direct result of her attachments to the farming lifestyle as a kid. She has been quoted on numerous instances as saying that she adores the way light interplays and dances with the various animals and forms.
