You just mix it with dish washing liquid and warm water and you can do the cleaning right away. Soap is not very advisable because it is hard to rinse out of the carpet. One should be careful not to over wet the stain to avoid damage to the backing.

Five to ten minutes after spraying, you can now rinse it with warm water. You have to do the blotting again until you are sure that the solution has been removed. You have to dry then the area by putting white paper towels pressed down by anything heavy to absorb the rest of the liquid better. To restore the texture, run the vacuum over it.

However, there are certain kids of stains that home made and even commercial cleaning formulas cannot remove. These can be caused by strong chemicals and the only way to save it is for a cleaning service to do the job. Circumstances like these can happen when you should not try to do it on your own because doing so might just damage your carpet.

Carpets get dirty every day, that is a fact. However, removing stains can be less of a hassle if you do not let it bother you. You just have to know when to do it yourself or when to hire for an expert service.
